OutageReady helps homeowners and renters work out exactly what backup power they need before the next outage.

Why this site exists

I started OutageReady to answer the practical questions most people have when they look into backup power: what will a power station or generator actually run, and for how long? I am not an electrician, so the site sticks to clear math and published appliance ratings, and points you to a licensed professional for anything involving your home's wiring. As I test equipment myself, I will publish the measurements here.
